• Final two tables of the Stars Nightly 70k

Down to 11 people, I have a comfortable stack (4th in chips), and feel like I am one of the best players left in the tournament. Just busted out, a bit steamed at the moment, but not too bad. This is the 3rd hand I've raised in a row, so I felt like he could be playing back at me with not a whole lot, and plus I have QQ and it's 5 handed! I know this is a good push, but the better question is, does anybody fold this, considering the grip I had on the table? I had no trouble at all picking

  • Re:awkward AK spot in 80k nightly

first, just wanted to say hey wf, it's chrono from over at pxf, post this hand there and let joka slander you, even though I don't believe you did anything wrong :). Against a strong lag here I think you could 3 bet but then you're left in a spot where you might end up playing an inflated pot w/ ace high post flop. I'm more likely to 3bet in your spot, I like a flat w/ AK from the button b/c you know you are going to have position on everyone else at the table and that not that many

  • Re:talk about playing a hand like a bitch and dodging bullets...

you really shouldn't reveal your hand at all, and especially when another player is still in the hand.

  • Re:Online Poker vs. Live Poker w/Life Story included.....

congrats on turning your life around. Like anything in life, the more you do it, the better you get at it. I highly reccommend pokerxfactor, it is an excellent training site, and is well worth the money if you are on any kind of serious level in poker

  • Re:Deep in the FTP 129 KO

booo, nobody else finds this hand somewhat interesting. I mean it's a common situation that most of us are put in late in a tournament, so it's very important.

  • Re:Deep in the FTP 129 KO
I'm not completely sure what I would do in this spot but I think I'd be folding or calling... maybe it's a flaw but I would hardly ever push unless this guy had been stealing almost 100% of hands in LP.
If you call what kind of flop are you hoping for? One with a seven in it I would guess, which isn't going to happen enough to make a call profitable. Any other flop you're playing a guessing game and you're being put to a decision

  • Re:Deep in the FTP 129 KO
At first my thought was shoving>folding>calling. I may still think this, but one question: Chrono--how Makavelyces drop to 5bbs? Did he recently lose a big pot, or just got blinded down? That could make a big difference in many aspects of the table dynamics.
he blinded down

  • Re:Deep in the FTP 129 KO

ya, I don't think calling crossed my mind. I'll post results later if you want or just pm me and i'll let you know, that seems like a better idea.

  • Re:Deep in the FTP 129 KO
I'd say flat, and then pwn the beotch when he shoves weaker to iso! And if he has 99, suckout...otherwise win the race. Ok back to reality.....shipaments all day..he can't call that light can he? What's his range of calling chrono's reship here? Chrono has 25bb so I don't think the opener can REALLY call lightly here when it's over 1/2 his stack.
I'd say he will probably call the reshove with 88+ AQo+ AQs+ maybe change the AQ
