I just got back from the Hollywood Park Casino and have been thinking about my last hand. Playing a $65 mtt satellite to HPC's Poker Derby Main Event (about 85 entered, awarding 8 $550 seats), I found myself playing at one of two last tables, six-handed. With my stack at 17.5K, the blinds were 1200-2400 with a 500 ante. After posting the 2,900 for my bb/ante, I picked up A5o. This past Sunday I got to play in the "Guinness World Record" tournament on Pokerstars with 34,999 others. An interesting hand occurred about 45 minutes in, after I had spent the prior 4 rounds getting involved in my fair share of hands, building an alright stack but still looking for that first double/triple up. Considering my table image was probably somewhat loose, in retrospect I think my pre-flop raise should have been in the 4-5x range instead of the regular 3x. Any advice/critique

Strange play w/ the overbet...likely to be AX as AA/KK would prob be looking for more insurance of you sticking around, while this bet seems it would prefer to win the pot uncontested rather than be shown down (however in consideration of the widely loose field of players for these 3.30R tourneys, any play would not really suprise me...but I still lean towards the call, favoring the QQ)
