I shove any flop if that happens.
+1

The only thing to consider is if the BB has been a nit, shove is fine. If the BB has been fairly active, maybe fold and wait for a better spot / hand.

Either ship, or raise to around $1000, make your hand look stronger than it is.

Yes it's a bad shove this early in the tournament. As far as the ICM calc goes, can't really help you there. But I don't think it is much use to you at this point in the tournament.

Fold pre-flop. ohyeahduffman should have shoved, and you probably aren't ahead of goodies pushing range. For you call this you need 77+ or AJ+. Even if it is a suited ace. It is still a pretty weak suited ace.

I don't see any mistakes that you made. Pretty standard. You have an over pair, he got lucky and hit the flop better than you expected. Chalk it up to some people in the low limits will play any 2 cards, and they may or may not ever fold on their blinds. Since they have already put money in. One thing you could do, is if you run into one of those people, is raise more on their blinds. Most of the time you wont get sucked out on, and you will win more money.

You played fine, got sucked out on. It happens, move on to the next game.

A8 suited in the cutoff is fine to raise. Especially if it is folded around to you, even 8 or 9 handed. But A8 is not a "strong" ace, it's more on the weak side. As far as betting goes, if you hit top pair, lead out for about 50-75% of the pot, same on the turn. If you get re-raised, evaluate your hand, and think about what the other person could have called your raise with. And what could the person re-raise your hand with? If you feel like your hand is best, you can always re-raise

You rarely get paid with huge hands. Unless you get someone betting into you, or trying to bluff you off the hand, they rarely pay off. GL next time.

This is just an all around bad hand for you. It's extremely draw heavy, especially with 2 other players in the hand. You have the best hand right now, but the other 2 players have decent draws with 2 cards to go. First option is to shove pre. But in the stakes, you are probably getting both those callers anyway (AQo and A9d). Having seen the flop though, with a very draw heavy board. Like someone said before. Shove the flop, and pray they fold or the board pairs up.
