    This is weird for me as I am a staunch republican. We bought our house in 2004 in Massachusetts when things were booming and did so with a standard 5% down payment and a 30 yr fixed mortgage. The home appraised for $354k at the time,and we got it for $339k. We refid once in 2005,took out $10k to pay off some bills and some small improvements and have been in the same loan for the last 4 yrs or so. So here we are in 2009 and according to Zillow.com my house in worth $302k.In those 4yrs my taxes have

  • Advice / Thoughts appreciated.

    Been on a break from the game for a number of reasons. Played in a local tourney yesterday that I've had some success in before.Have finished first twice in 8 times playing,and cashed on two others. A very critical hand is posted below. $100 buy in.27 players. We started with 4k,and are now at $100/$200 soon to be $200/$400. I am on the bb with about $4000 after posting. First to act limps, he has alot of chips and although I've never played with him,he appears solid,talks as if he plays

    3 live hands $1/$2 nl..First two from Mohegan Sun.I have about $150 in ea hand. 1) In cutoff..Folds to me and I pickup K/Q of spades..I raise to $8..Button calls,blinds fold.Flop is QH/4S/6D.. I,disguise my hand and check,button checks behind.Turn is a 10..I bet $20,button calls..Turn is an harmless 7..I bet $30,button reraises to $75.. I, with about $80 left,call the $50 and see 6/6/6.. ___________________________________________________________________ 2)This hand is pretty standard,I think.. SItting
