I think your ahead of his 4bet range considering the table dynamics but your almost always racing when you do get it in. Unless the remaining field is really strong I wouldn't feel the need to race for my stack at this point. You are a much better player than me though so I value whatever you oppinion is on my logic. If I'm 10bbs or so shorter then I'm prob looking to take that gamble .
You will be "gambling" against a much tighter 4

Also your sizing pre is going to narrow his range even more since he definitely isnt going to assume your folding after putting a third of your stack in pre. You're crushed here unless you guys have some absurd history which I really doubt. Like people said, just flat... really no need to turn AQ into a bluff, and instead play vs his whole 3 betting range preflop.
Super sick hand and as played, well done. As I said originally, I like 3b/c...would have saved ourselves a massive headache and gotten same result. If we 3b to 3700-4100 and original raiser and flatter fold, gboro is shoving AJ for value every time imo. If original raiser happens to have 88-JJ we are flipping with decent equity. If original raiser has us beat I think we chalk it up to a sick spot/cooler and move on. Problem with flatting is that gboro wins the 224
