What law is this violating? Pokerstars does not run a sportsbook and I am unaware of any evidence showing poker to be illegal.

I've written to my local and federal legislators as well as participating in the phone lobbying days set up by the PPA. If you aren't actively trying to make the change that you want then you have no right to complain. This is true for any issue you're passionate about, not just poker.

I know the Govenor of Massachusetts tacked on as part of his casino bill an attempt to make online poker illegal. Has there been any update for 2008?

I thought this hearing wasn't supposed to happen until Spring. Is there anything new I should be doing as a massachusetts citizen? I have previously contacted all of my legislators including meeting with my local Rep about this issue.

The play in these is awful with usually half the table having almost no idea how to play. I play these occasionally when I am running bad in my cash games and want to play something fun. They dont run enough for anyone to make much $ playing them.
