I doubt lineups would be in reverse order because the top hitters would get less ABs, and the shitty hitters would be hitting more, which would suck in the long run. The idea of starting a closer is fucking stupid, because you would still need someone to close the game anyways. I do however think teams should use their closers earlier sometimes, say your facing the 2-4 hitters in the 7th or 8th inning, pop him in there, and then let another bullpen arm finish the game.
