you have the exact same story that i had. poker for wayyyy to long, sometimes barely getting by etc etc. i too was 24 when i had this epiphany (last year)..i put a resume on Monster and noted that I completed 2 years in chemical engineering. couple days later got a call from a research lab staffing agency (think temp agency but strictly for research labs) about a position as a lab steward aka lab bitch for $12/hr... I interviewed for that position and had it locked in after a week or so. i start
