The only person that could beat Stuey at any game was the man in the mirror. He was a true genious and more self destructive than anyone you will ever meet. He was also an action junkie. He would bet on the way a rain drop would land. He was never happy because the action was never enough.......very sad. We can all learn a little bit from his addictions.

I am headed from Maine to Atlantic City on Friday afternoon, and was wondering the best place along the way to stay reasonable and safe Friday nite? I am thinking somewhere around the Border of NJ so I can only have a short ride Sat AM. Does anyone have any suggestions? I do not want to spend more than $140 or so for Fri nite. I already have my Borgata room for Sun-wed but am looking at Fri-Sat nite. Thx

Hey all, Anyone going to play in this tourney? I am coming into town Sat AM to play in the Satellite and I am entering the event Sunday. I am looking for a room to crash in Sat nite as Borgate charges like 500 a nite on weekends. I have my room lined up for Sun-Tues already. Make it $750 to go, hoping to isolate if one called, or take it down now with your trash hand. If you get re-popped, you have a decision to make. At least this gives you info, and if you just flat call, you are now unsure of where you stand, and you let the 3rd player have odds to flop a set or 2 pair.....and the A or K on flop may be dead. I dont mind the fold at all. When you have chips, why do people insist on playing those JJ like the nutz? So what if you are ahead right now? How much further ahead? Is the risk of losing your tourney against A-Q worth it? What if he has QQ or better, or feels like racing with that stack? Do you need those chips to win the tourney, or is worth ending your chances by losing 70% of your stack? Whenver I am walking out of the tourney area, I always ask myself, "so, what hand did I go to war with?" I

Anyone play the Sunday $340 tourney at Foxwoods? Curious how many players show up, and how you play the 25 min structure? Any help appreciated. Mainemonster

you ust figure you are beat by one of them, or only in a race. I would fold. And, you woulda lost, so you are smart dude!

I live in Maine, and an hour away is Seabrook. Nice place, cool set up, decent dealers, etc. The issue is the starting stacks and blinds are real fast on anything under the $100 tourney, and even that is fast. Once a month they have A $250 that is worth it....other than that, between the 20% to charity, the value is not there. Side games are weak too...big rake.

I know nothing compared to Ape and others, but in my few years of donking off chips, every time I shove UTG with A-10 or KQ, someone wakes up with a calling hand and does call. Very few times do I get the blinds, which even when I do they dont improve me much. In this spot I want to double up and have a chance to win the tourney. So, I wait for power like 8-9 sooted. Then when I get called I have live cards. But as I said, I am an UberDonk
