let me guess, you called, he flipped over A8/88 and you're trying to think about whether or not you should have folded and are asking for advice.. stop being results oriented imo and realize you are only behind here as played when youre faced up against some lucky donk who doesnt know anything about getting value out of his/her hands... please don't think about folding this here

oh goodness, here goes an hour long break to fix the problem

ok, let me tell you what you do.. go win a few bracelets and when ftp approaches you to pay you to wear their stuff, pull your pants down and tell them to kiss your ass, re-open your account (possibly with about $10k more in it than you had before), and you'll think about it for a few days. then say ok and everything will be better! best way to solve this problem imo

I usually play low stakes mtt's (not really any >$20) and always seem to go up against some weird play like this and never can tell if its just nuts every time, bluff every time, or variation of the two just player dependent. I usually find when i call this spot it is nuts but sometimes villain is holding a really weak top pair or something. idk i would just like some input from some low stakes sickos that see stuff like this every once in a while and what they do in these spots. thanks PokerStars

i guess i didnt c-bet cause i had been c-betting every flop when i open and pretty sure i had a pretty lag image at that point, and also i feel like that flop hit his range by flat/flatting the blind and my raise (JTs, QJ, KJ, AJ).. i guess i feel like he's flatting a c-bet with any pair hes holding (88+), and either flat/raising with any J or set which fits his range imo pretty well. so i guess i felt like the most profitable play in this spot would be to see a free card... i mean i may be well
