[quote user="bigblacktruck"] I did not read more than the first couple of responses to this nor do I have to. Why did u tell him in the first place? To be a good guy I assume. He probably should not have typed "def" back to you but whatever. It was pretty nice of him to send $100 and IMO you should send it straight back to him and say "thanks for the offer but its your money and I did nothing to earn it". I am getting so sick and tired of people wanting and taking money

This happened to me at the Bike once. I was just folding under the gun, and the cards slid a bit too far off the slick table, and one fell on the floor. I got a penalty also. may have something to do with the way the tables are. never happened to me before or after that. For those saying that they should sit out 4 hands, I think that would be a bit much. When I got a penalty at the WSOP, the whole table, besides the person who called the penalty out, suggested I dont get a penalty, and/or make it

Obviously trying to hedge vs likely 5k tourney for him.

Definitely get called by worse a lot in this situation, the problem is if you raise, you cant really fold. I think that considered, I flat river, so you arent almost dead the times you are beat.

[quote user="GrayFOX22"]I mean he'll have to just ship if anything. Pot is something like 8240 on river and Villain only has about 4600 left it looks like. Whatever hand he is valuing with on the river that you beat, it will be basically impossible for him to fold getting like 3.3ish-to-1 on his money. I guess it sort of depends on the player too. How did the player lose the chips they did? Overplaying a mediocre hand? Cooler? Chasing a draw and folding when it didn't complete?

If I am your opponent, I put you in with a lot of hands you are beating. I put you in with pretty much any pair with a low draw. That being said, many players do not, so do not know if this is a call or fold here. I sure dont think it is a huge mistake to call though. How many times is he gonna snap off the nuts here, and how many times does he have dry low draw. A lot of stuff in the middle has you beat too, but you are getting over 2-1. The AA has value in this spot, and so does the A6, unlikely

Some additional info after reading thread 1. Flatting Your hand preflop here is horrible. 2. The villain played his hand fine, I probably play it exact same way, and shove virtually any flop. Although sometimes I may check here. 3. Villain should never fold to single 3 bet in this situation 4. More "experts" come play PLO8 Cash. It is easy money and fun to play :)
