can i ask a non-this-question-question? :) what do you look for in an opponent during a sit-n-go that would establish he is 'capable of raise/folding'? in most SnGs, especially turbos, against players w/out a history there are very few spots where you can determine that no? given that, do we start with the basic assumption that in a 225$ SnG, players should have a reasonable expectation of play and we should note accordingly if they do NOT adhere to it. in other words, if we've never played with

to me, based on the action, it's painfully obvious the guy has AA, what other hand can he possibly have unless he's running a bluff? is stratkomb99r a player who is very laggy/spewy? If not, I fold river here always (though personally I'd probably take a different line flop/turn to see earlier in the hand if he has the AA)

My question to everyone is how long do you plan on playing poker? i'll probably donate (err, play) the rest of my life in various degrees live/online. poker as entertainment makes it easy to enjoy for a lifetime {like golf, for example}

jerry yang? :) to the OP, perhaps you could try mentoring/teaching? talk to bax/sheets/nsx/others who have done that perhaps to get their perspective. the other suggestions by GP and brsavage are good as well. fwiw, what you describe happens to about everyone in any profession. i know many people in different walks of life who have gone through what you are now with poker. many of them completely change professions {some multiple times} and even lifestyles {from rich company CEO type to broke community
