Maybe I'm just a lot tighter than most but I believe the first mistake is calling the reraise preflop. Second mistake would be not raising at least for a feel after the flop in which he probably would have called. However, you could have taken it down on the turn with a large continuation bet but seeing how you called the reraise and checked the flop and flat called the turn you must have had him on KK or AA. On the river there is no way to lay this down however this mistake could have been avoided

Actually, what's the problem with someone raising $50? I play 1/2 and 2/3 live every day and find that $100 is the perfect starting stack. What the hell are you talking about, "actually play poker", sounds like you need to be at a limit game.

I wrestled and did judo for 12+ years and had it many times. Ringworm is highly contagious but extremely weak and painless. However, if you want to rid of it right away(which you have to when wrestling), take a small dab of bleach and rub it. Be extremely careful when doing that. The only other way to "kill" it right away is to burn it off with a lighter. Other than that stick with ringworm treatment cream.

Location would help. This is an awesome deal you're doing and good luck. Since poker is a passion of yours, you'll do well. Probably should email a bunch of the PPA and try to get the phone conference deal going.

TC has an excellent point. My brother is attending a good school but I'd rather see him play poker than be in a drunken state from partying all the damn time. As long as the person can hold a job and contribute something positive to society, then what's the problem?

I've just begun to really venture into the depths of Omaha Hi Lo and love it. However, I would love to find a book or an article that outlines key hands, to do/not to do situations, and more. If anyone has any good suggestions, let me know. Thanks.

The reason you have heard it being done before is beause that's what people in the Crew do. A group of friends will generally set something like that up. I don't think any random person online would be willing to do that.

The raise only warrants a call. See the flop, know the player, and move from there.

To be successful in anything you need to have patience. Your successful players will tell you that they beat at the door of profit for a long time before they finally developed a winning game. Lucky for us, unlike the Doyle's and Hellmuth's(older players), we have online poker which gives us 5 years experince in a 1/5 of the time. However it's still proven for every winner out there is a lot of losers and 9/10 of poker players are losing. So patience is just a piece of what you'll need to become
