I'm kinda annoyed by our continuous move towards big government, fewer personal freedoms and being allowed to keep less and less of what I earn. It doesn't take much of an intellectual to know that the bigger government gets, the worse it is for individuals. It seems more like common sense to me. My new mantra is "Hope and Change". I understand that it is not very intellectual, but it worked once so who knows. A good slogan is worth a thousand intellectual thoughts.

Sure I believe them why not. I put my trust in the government every minute of everyday. I must. It is not an option really is it? My government is responsible for my safety, my education, my health, my shelter, my food, my ability to earn a living, spending over half my income to provide benefits for me and everyone else, all for the good of society.
