• Re:Maybe UIGEA should not be extended 1 year.
The legislation supported by PPA in Congress today opens the market to US-based sites, bringing more competition. It addresses the root cause of the AB/UB scandals with regulation and by creating a means of enforcement that we lack today.
I think you are referring to the Frank/Wexler Bills. I am referring to the 1 year extension. U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has now received a petition from the PPA ‘interest group’ requesting an extension of

  • Maybe UIGEA should not be extended 1 year.

To me the extension seems to allow the cartel of Full Tilt, Pokerstars, and Absolute to continue as-is. According to my estimates over 80% of each dollar deposited to these sites gos to the sites, less than 20% is returned to the winning players. Furthermore we have had major scandals and no one has gone to jail. If we illegalize poker now, we will still have spadeclub. Maybe it will force more players to support the other bills that will legalize poker within the United Sates. The PPA can easily
the rejection of new power generation facilities being built 10-15 yrs ago, until all of a sudden the state had a superhot summer, with brownouts.... then, oh, it's the fault of the merchant power companies!!! Oh wait, wasn't it the state and local governments that denied the permits to build sufficient facilities to generate demand?
It was all a fraud. Free market generation would work. People must expect to pay a little more at the start. If anything

  • The perfect Health Care system.

The Senate passed a $600 billion bill for for some type of health insurance program. This is addition to other programs. The cost per year in 2007 was about $7421 per resident. However the cost in most socialized health insurance countries is like $2500 per resident. In England the only place where the government owns the hospitals the costs are like $1700 per resident. Thus, a single payer system is very good. A better system might be as follows. 1. Make it illegal for your employers to offer health
Or K can take his ass to another country since they have such a wonderful system (in his mind anyway
I like it here. Maybe if we tax Limbaugh at 80-90% like was done in the 1950s he would leave and we could get someone that contributes to society rather than the lazy republican party.
A better system would be to first, require everyone, and I mean everyone, to follow a strict government approved diet and exercise program
I think people should run their self-directed health care. Doing so will probably lead you to believe wheat, corn, sugar, beans, and dairy products are poison (Paleo Diet). Something the government will never admit. Vitamin d lamps and supplements would probably cut cancers by 50% and eliminate osteoporosis thus hip fractures
