I want Ivey to win b/c he's the best player and obv deserves it, but I don't think him winning will bring more dead money into the game then a random winning would. The Moneymaker Effect was because an everyman beat (people who were hyped up as being) world class pros. Saying "hey the best player in the world won all the money" doesn't draw people into the game as much as "hey a plumber won a $10 sat and beat the best player in the world and so can you".

Assuming you never chop HU: If you win 40% of the time, get 2nd 40% of the time and get 3rd 20% of the time, your equity is 97.4k You had 31.4% of the chips in play at this moment. I never said I wanted a refund of anything. I paid for 2 seasons and am not looking to go back on that commitment. It's just not that fun for me, despite my efforts to get better, and I'm sure it's not fun for you guys to beat someone 50-0. If someone wants to take over the team and can make it a little more competitive, everyone wins.

It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but I liked it.
