I went to make a cashout request from Bodog (first time in several months) and it says you'll receive a check in approx. 8 weeks!! Has anyone done a payout from here recently? Does it really take 8 weeks or is this like a safety net for some of the banking issues I know they have had in the past?

No, it is not always stupid to fold AK preflop. I have done it plenty of times. It is however not a good move to be folding in this situation. Reasoning is very simple, in multi table tournies the goal early on is to build your chip stack (this is how you survive to make the money, as you said your goal was) you have a better chance of building your chip stack at this point in the game because the field is full of weak players, so it is a MUST that you take advantage of the edge that your hand here

I haven't had any problems with the new software, I've heard several people say things about though. For some reason it never prompted me to upgrade my software so I was playing on the old software for a long time till a buddy came over and said something about it. I had to uninstall the software all together and then go and download the new software. So it short, you may want to try uninstalling and then re downloading. rs

chrysler town and country is the way to go, I have been in the car business for awhile and one thing is for sure you are not going to get a toyota or a honda minivan that is in any kind of decent shape for under $10k! I think this play is fine, you have an M of 8 and this is a turbo tourny with only 1st paying you have to the money in often and hope for situations where you are ahead like you were.

I'm a little confused on why you didn't raise pre-flop here??
