Fewer and fewer banks will process checks from gaming sites and/their processors. I voted for Obama so we wouldn't be in this mess. I demand to know why he hasn't made online poker legal.
Hahahahaha, you drank the Obama koolaid huh? Listening to all the bs promises. Obama is a joke and a 1 term president. Most casinos in Vegas will cash you out for $3k or less with no id, but demand id for over $3k, they are trying to track your winnings. All the major casinos I have been to in Vegas do this. Break down to under 3k, go to cage. They have started to do this in AC too, used to be Borgata 10k in chips no problem, now 3k or under. Pain in the Azz if you gamble at BJ, craps, etc.
lol @ some responses. people w/o a clue who are out for blood thinking jpapola is somehow being sketchy here when he clearly isnt. same thing pretty much exactly happened to me @ the bellagio (friend who owed me money paid me in bellagio chips, but i only had record of playing tournaments). the difference for me was once i rounded up my tournament receipts and brought them to the cage, they were willing to cash out the chips, even though I hadn't even cashed

If you have between 3k and 10k and want to cash em all at once, playing craps or bj should work, put all chips in rail, show players card, play small for half an hour, then cash out and be sure to ask for color. Now you will need to show card at cage but should have no prob cashing out. If you have over 10k, you can do the same but anytime you cash over 10k they will send paperwork to IRS will want id and ss number. Not a problem if you got your self in order for taxes at end of year.

Harrah's is pathetic for doing this. It is amazing that they didn't figure out a way though considering they are the greediest bastards in the world. Pathetic that they have such high entry fees, the players get nothing from the tv money. As stated above, there should be no entry fee for televised events, ESPN should be adding to the prizepool. The morons blaming it on the players are true idiots, like the 35 year old clown with a mohawk, lol. And the thing with Sully getting in is outrageous

Players rely on statements made by tournament staff, such as being told no one will be turned away, play the satellite and if you don't win, you can register afterwords, etc. Harrah's is pathetic, they could have easily gone with alternates, people were dropping out within minutes.
-
Agree with fact you should not wait until last day to register..That's just a reflection on being cheap and not wanting to waste money on hotel rooms for the first 3 days.
So Patrik Antonius, T.J. Cloutier, Layne Flack, Ted Forrest, Brandon Adams are cheap because they waited to last day? Maybe they too relied on statements by Harrah'sstaff that there would be no problem.
-
they arranged transfers so close to the tourney because they were told that there would be no problems registering for the tournament whenever. are you really too thick to understand that?
Too many blows to the head.
