so I never had mine taken out... the top 2 came in all crooked but they arent much of a problem... the bottom 2 are impacted and the one just started giving me problems last night... not so much the tooth but the gum area above it swelled up huge and hurt real bad... couldnt even close my mouth all the way because of it... this morning its not as bad but I havent eatin any solid food yet and I can still feel it a little swollen... moral of the story is Im going to have to get these out sooner than

The tissue being inflamed is called pericornitis. You can can take antibiotics or just cut that piece of tissue off above the tooth or have the tooth out. I would recommend just having all 4 out. You will eat soft food from 2-7 days and take pain/antibiotics pills for about a week. your post helped alot thx so its safe to cut this tissue off myself?
