• Re:Is using the ICM a big part of your game?

if you play SNGs then its the single most important concept in becmoming profitable in them. half the answers in this thread are ridiculous, for a while now i think pocket fives has become a joke as a learning forum and this just proves it. if you really want to learn the importance of ICM just ask any half decent STT SNGer or check out the STT forum on 2+2. I am done with pocket fives after reading posts in this thread, its to difficult for anyone that want to learn about the game to wade through

  • Re:SNG COLLUSION

this happen to me recently and i e-mailed stars. They did a investigation and found that the two players had a 'relationship'. they then further investigated and found that they had soft played in a number of sngs. Though they did not realise it was wrong. I was awarded 1st in the SNG i played in and I believe they had all profits from games they played together taken away. They were not banned from the site but banned from playing cash and SNGs together. stars is pretty good about stuff
Just out of curiosity did they give you an expanation how they came to that conclusion?
i think they looked at how many games they played togther saw they had alot higher ROI's when together then asked them a bunch of questions. Guess they owned up to it when asked...

i am not sure how it is the states, but surely they have to build a case to dismiss you. They can't just fire you on the spot unless it specifically in your contract that what you did is gross misconduct
not true. in all states but montant employers have the right to fire employees "at will" due to the laws on the books. this doesnt include certain discrimination laws. union employees have somewhat different

  • Hold em manager - finding hand histories

hi i am new to HEM so forgive me if this is obvious previously to getting HEM if i wanted to check over a Hand History i simply went to where stars saves my HH. Now however this folder is empty which i presume is because HEM improts them into the database. Where can i retrieve the HH in its pure notepad form from HEM? I have looked in the RGV software program files but cant find anything. any help would be appreciated.

  • Re:Some advice from SNG Players would be appreciated.
Biggest advice is get sngwiz. Nash is the correct plays based on your opponents playing correctly which rarely tends to happen. Wiz is only 3 buyins for you, and is pretty essential imo. 1000% easier to review HHs and more effective.
This using Nash is a huge leak if you are analysing when playing against bad players
