I will be there this weekend to play in the $300 + $40 ME Qualifier at 10am or 5pm

I really like the idea of these tournaments and would play most of the $15 ones but a 3:20pm ET start is impossible when I don't get home from work until after 4pm...nice job FTP on that one! :(

I picked up some nice Acer 20" monitors to run duals (1680x1050 max resolution)...they were like $190 a piece from newegg. They have 2 models, one with just vga and one with vga/dvi so be care to get the right one edit - I looked up the monitor on newegg it is... I was playing a $1/$2 NL cash game, $200 max buyin yesterday when a hand came up that was quite interesting. I just wanted to throw it out there to see how others would have played this. I have about roughly $300 in front of me and have been playing somewhat tight (folded my SB a few times with no raises). There is a guy who sat down a few minutes before and has been a super maniac raising almost every hand and he just won a really big pot (is up to about ~$650). He is sitting 2 seats to my right

I have no problem with the way this was played. I would probably bet the turn especially if the other player was an unknown (this was not the case as you reasoned Eric's probable play and the hand seemed to play out the way you intended it to). If I had to put Eric on a hand, I would say two pair or a pair & a flush draw (trying to take down the pot with your check) but it's always possible because it's so early in the tourney that he tried to slowplay AA or KK and take down a big

I second that...I wish I was back in college so I'd have the summer to play poker... oh to be 4-5 years younger again and have the summer off, I'd be down in Vegas for the series!
