• Re:What to do from SB with 66

The only other play I see here is 3-betting the flop. Apparently that would've been a bad idea, so I think you played it well.

Was he being sarcastic? If not, then his face should've had your fist mark on it.

  • Re:At what point do I just quit. This is really getting hard to take

He's right. You did raise on the button with an ace, which is a fine play, and you got all your money in as a favorite, which is also fine. The reality is that the more hands you play, the more bad beats you will see, no matter how you get your money in. Don't play weak aces for big pots and you'll be less likely to take a bad beat.

  • Re:hand i was flamed for

Check calling a flop where you absolutely whiffed makes no sense. Do you think A4 is good on the flop and you're gonna check-call to the river with your "best hand". Are you trying to make a move from out of position where you just call in order to get him to fold???? This makes no sense.

  • Re:Is this a right call?

As played, without reads, I fold. I dont like 3x raising with 13bbs ever, However if it was AQ of spades i might call just cuz it looks so pretty.
wierd. To me this is a standard insta shove. i dont pay attention to bb stuff. im a harrington on holdem guy. 13bb that late in a tourney your M is about 6 or maybe 7 tops and the blinds are gonna hit you after the next hand and how long before they go up again?? you gonna

  • Flush Draws

I play in low-limits with "bad" players. When I price someone out of a pot (3/4 pot - full pot bet) and they call, can I rule that they don't have a flush draw? What happens when that third suit hits? Too many times I price people out, sometimes even on the turn too, and they show the flush. What should I do?

  • Re:When to fold QQ in a 6.50 SnG

Too many people do this with hands you have crushed. Not a bad move.

  • Re:Flush Draws
Use more pot control lines. Just because your pricing them out doesn't mean they are going to lay down their draws. You say, " I play in low-limits with "bad" players." This mean they prolly don't use any poker tools or programs like pokerstove and therefore suck at math and doing calculations. So it doesnt mean anything to them what you bet. I would check more flops and let a card peel off and then proceed with the hand once you get a safe

  • Re:What impact do you think this year's ME winner will have on poker?

After seeing the skill level of this final table, especially heads-up, it might scare away the fishies.
