The only other play I see here is 3-betting the flop. Apparently that would've been a bad idea, so I think you played it well.

He's right. You did raise on the button with an ace, which is a fine play, and you got all your money in as a favorite, which is also fine. The reality is that the more hands you play, the more bad beats you will see, no matter how you get your money in. Don't play weak aces for big pots and you'll be less likely to take a bad beat.

I play in low-limits with "bad" players. When I price someone out of a pot (3/4 pot - full pot bet) and they call, can I rule that they don't have a flush draw? What happens when that third suit hits? Too many times I price people out, sometimes even on the turn too, and they show the flush. What should I do?

Too many people do this with hands you have crushed. Not a bad move.

[quote user="sct123"] Use more pot control lines. Just because your pricing them out doesn't mean they are going to lay down their draws. You say, " I play in low-limits with "bad" players." This mean they prolly don't use any poker tools or programs like pokerstove and therefore suck at math and doing calculations. So it doesnt mean anything to them what you bet. I would check more flops and let a card peel off and then proceed with the hand once you get a safe

After seeing the skill level of this final table, especially heads-up, it might scare away the fishies.
