At least its nice when these guys finally make their hand and then bet .70 into an $8 pot.
LOL it's so true, but sometimes those bets are bluffs too and u just don't even know what they are thinking.
10 to 1 isn't really enough either. I'm usually looking for 12-1 vs. looser players and 15-1 vs. tighter ones. Remember all the things that need to happen to get paid when you set mine: 1. Hit your set 2. You opponent needs a strong enough hand post flop to continue with you 3. You need to hold As far as I'm concerned it's never too early.
What about cash games? I'm usually looking for greater than 12-1 , but usually if thats all he has i

k well at first i was gonna let this go real fast and then I hesitated b/c i thought this guy prob has top pair and is just tryin to protect by over betting the pot.
Off the topic a bit. I can't help but wonder why click-clack7 is calling (preflop) with 57 offsuit?? Is this not strange to anyone else ?
... 4:1 pot odds? why not see a flop with the possibility of taking down a big pot *???*

um...I used PT3 for the 45 day trial, and now i'm trying HM, and HM seems to use alot more system resources and is laggy as fck. Ya my comp is nearing its end, but PT3 ran without much problem. anyone else notice this? I find it annoying

BIG mistake telling your wife you'll 'cash out' anything. When you want to play just play with what you can afford to lose, build up a BR if u can but never tell her how much u have, or how much you lost that day, or that she can have a cut of your winnings LOL you gotta tell her poker is your hobby and you love playing, that's why you are going to the casino, not to 'pad your income'. Then tell her after awhile you're pretty much even haha

Just wondering what kind of win rate other pppl are getting in the micro stakes. I'm thinking 0.01-0.02, and 0.02-0.05 limits. Just want to have see what some of the better players are getting and have something to aim for. Also, to play 0.02-0.05 level, is $150 bankroll enough or should I wait to hit $200. My plan is to wait to $200 but if there is no dif in skill levels between the stakes i'm kinda wasting my time playing 2 cents right? I mean if i'm winning there.

the thing is for the 0.05 level u can buy in for 200 BB's, and most ppl say always buy in for the max. I would personally hate to be in a hand with a guy with 200BB's and only be able to get half haha How many tables do you play? I've got about 22k hands at 2NL

ya thats tru, i find playing within my bankroll i don't get tilted from a suckout or a bad play (which happens often lol) as much, i just move on and keep playin =) I think you're right about the buy in, i could also just buy in for $6 or $7 if there are enough players there that are that deep. sweet might test the waters out today then =D
