Calm Like a Bomb - Rage Against the Machine or Releasing the Demons - Godsmack

  • Re(2): Best movies that most people havent seen.

^^^^^Very Good film Dyzalot...hard to find too. My suggestions: 1. Frailty (Excellent mind-f*** movie) 2. The Mothman Prophesies (...on the order of The X-Files) 3. Lords of Dogtown 4. The Cincinnati Kid (Best all-time Poker movie next to Rounders...surprised I didn't see it listed) 5. And my favorite movie...if you haven't seen it: Training Day --Tricky

  • Re(9): Phil Hellmuth is the best NL HE MTTer EVER

'Action Dan' Harrington is the best Poker Player in the world because if not for his wisdom...most of you self-proclaimed Gods/Goddesses of the felt would still be in the dark ages and not nearly as good as you are now! Not everyone can steal knowledge and turn it into gold but for some we most assuredly forget where we came from. --Tricky

  • Re(4): Risk tournament life on a coin flip?

I know what you mean...even though you're a slight favorite in a scenario like that...I'd make the same push and when I win the coinflip I would just say "52/48 GG"

  • Re(2): Risk tournament life on a coin flip?

^^^^Agree w/ keylow63...in those situations...this makes total sense!!! For your second point I would make sure that it is the person/s that continually reraise me and not a tighter player that tends to also back down to reraises if at all possible...but then again this is heavily read dependent so you may find yourself flipping anyhow to make a stand but I try to avoid that scenario. --Tricky

  • Re(2): How Often Does This Happen???

Thx NYRocketMan...I was wondering what the statistics were on this. I loved his call...then push on the turn when the board is already paired and I raised heavy to shut him down. I thought maybe I was outkicked but then I saw the river and was like....okay, I'm playing at the $10 level...still doesn't make any sense to me!?!

  • How Often Does This Happen???

Sit n Go ($10) on UB. Villian was raising a lot especially oop. I simply called w/ a suited connector but even a raise back at him was not going to shake him off this hand. What are the odds of him hitting runner 7, runner 7? This is my first and only Bad Beat post. Criticism welcomed. • Re(6): Working Full time, family and Poker..

I would say the same thing no matter what the hell someone does with their time but family responsibility is family responsibility and if you don't give a shit about your family well then don't post here asking if Poker has caused you to get a divorce. I don't really care what the reasons are I was just posting an opinion about how to handle the issue posed in a reasonable way. If it's none of our business then don't ask. Its easy to bash someone for offering an opinion when you don't have one yourself
