    krs you probably think hits are a completely defense-dependent stat too, making batting average overrating, and HRs the only good indicator of who is a better hitter, since the defense has no chance of getting to the ball if it is hit out of the park. By your defense dependent logic Adam Dunn was a better hitter than Albert Pujols last year.
