WhenI served I KNEW when I did a good job or a shitty one, it wasn't up to your tip to tell me. The tip reflects your character. If I gave you great service and got 10% I felt a little skirted, if I did a bad job even a couple of small mistakes that added up to it being a non-pleasing experience and I got 10% I was grateful. Too many servers now-a-days expect 20% no matter how good they did. On the flip, too many customers consider $3 all they need to tip, no matter how big the order. You played
