Sorry, I think you need to help yourself. I have no problem getting MY account history from any site I play on. I do not think it would be different for your husband. However, other people getting my account information, like, for example, police departments and angry, soon-to-be ex-wives, is something I am very glad is difficult.

It would seem to me to be far more important to be able to show that your husband did not take the funds from his employer. What a thief does with stolen funds is usually irrelevant to his status as a thief.

[quote user="WhatsWildAgn"] Whatever you do, don't cash out amounts like 4934.67... That would be the most conspicuous thing you could possibly do. I would say that if you withdraw it from stars or whatever, you need to pay the tax on it. If you don't withdraw it from the stars account you could argue it hasn't really been "made" yet. So I would say if possible withdraw an amount lower than the lowest tax bracket and call that your winnings for this calendar year.

If you NEED the money NOW, then the safest move is to take it off the sites. 12/01/09 is a new big "gamble" in the world of online poker. The general consensus among the experts in the field is that full implementation of the UIGEA will make quick and easy deposits/withdrawals less common. How much less common is the open question. TE's advice is good if you want to continue to play uninterrupted and don't need to get your money in a hurry. The sites are not going to stiff you no

Until and unless you win lots of money, absolutely no one is going to care, and maybe not even then. The site will let you know if your state of residence is a problem for them (I do not imagine this will be the case) and the state will not react until long after all is done. So the bottom line is: STOP WORRYING AND HAVE FUN! The absolute worst that can happen to you is that you win a lot of money and the Government comes after the money. Seriously, that is the worst possible outcome. But they can't

Sorry for the delayed response here folks, for a still unknown reason Pocket5s will not let me log in when using my FireFox browser. I have given up trying to figure it out, and am now logged in with a different browser. Tacoman98, last I heard Lee Russo's case in Washington is currently being considered for appeal by the Washington State Supreme Court. I will have to check with Lee for the full status at this point in time, but if his state options were over I think we would have heard (and

State gambling laws and the internet OK, now its time to delve into the really arcane subject matter. We have previously seen that if federal law covers online poker it almost certainly only does that by virtue of referencing "gambling that is illegal under state law." (Link:http://www.pocketfives.com/poker-forums/8/federal-law-and-your-poker-money-4398793 ) We have also previously seen how it is far from a closed question as to whether state gambling laws cover poker, primarily due to

We shouldn't just have a daily bump my friends, we should set as our goal a good 1/2 million signatures by National Poker Week less than 3 weeks away. Dont just sign, get your wife or significant other to sign. Tell you family to sign; tell your friends; tell your friends to tell their friends. The PPA can only advertise so much. To get really get good numbers we need a good word of mouth campaign too. Thanks for all your help Skallagrim

I have no secret insight into what the Government is doing in this case. But right now everything seems clearly just related to the money. In my opinion it is unlikely, as g911 suggests, that the DOJ has had the lengthy investigation and amassing of evidence needed to bring an action against the FTP pros or owners. So therefore I think the g911 story is, for the most part, just fear-mongering for publicity . I say this not because it is impossible that the DOJ has a long term plan to seek charges

[quote user="JPFisher55"] G911 has an interesting update on the SDNY DOJ seizure. http://www.gambling911.com/gambling-news/team-full-tilt-worries-over-poker-echeck-seizures-070109.html Of course, anything in the G911 must be taken with a grain of salt. Still, it appears that the DOJ is not backing down since it has not unsealed the court documents behind this seizure. So I have a question for Skall and TE. Has the PPA planned for potential DOJ action (subpoena to testify before a grand
