I run into this all the time- first few levels of a tourney, I have a set, 2 pr., overpair, etc., and the board comes 2 to a flush...in my experience at the lower levels (<$10 MTT) nobody EVER folds a flush draw- no matter what. So I end up shoving (putting them on the draw), they call (always) and I'm rolling the dice, and winning a lot of them. When I lose, I wonder "should I just bet 1/2-3/4 pot on flop and see turn, then re-evaluate?" Then I can get away if they hit it...but

Just took down my first 180 man SNG. $2 buy-in, just over $100 cash. Not my biggest cash by a long shot; just glad to get the monkey off my back after 2nd, 3rd, and many FTs. Pretty straightforward tourney, big stack for a long time. Last hand was auto-bust, raised with KK and he shoved TT. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

A pair and a draw=good enough to commit stack at lower levels (even a shitty pair and a shitty draw). I am very familiar with the small pair and gutshot combo draw; it's a monster! Still, that play is pretty bad for $10 tourney.Looks more like $1-2 to me.

And tonight I just lost deep in the 28k gtd with my motherfucking KK vs. son-of-a -bitch cunt ass fucking QQ aipf for 15k pot. It's a fucking total fucking joke.

wow-that bad of play is actually hard to believe-calling flop raise, then open shoving the turn with a 4 outer!?!?!??!? I broke a cheap table recently after numerous bad beats in one day. I can usually take them (alot) but lately the number has been hard to fucking believe (nearly all are AA<QQ,KK<QQ, TT<88, etc. AIPF in mid-late stages of MTT's). Fuck 'em!!
