Well sure $1500 sounds better then $500. Guitars are like cars though in that they loose a tremendous amount of value when they leave the store. I think as far as real value your guitar even though won would probably follow this trend too. You might be able to hang him for that amount but its hard to beleive anyone would be that big of a fan. I mean that is one expensive signature for a at most semi popular guitar player. Especially because he would never be able to turn around and sell it for that

I think you would be VERY lucky to get new market value out of it. I'd say around $500.
