So I decided my 2 MTT days will be Monday and Thursday. Last night went decent cashing in 2 out of the 4 tournies I played for a +$17.20 day. Not too shabby but would've been nice to run deeper. I played really well in all 4 but just happened to run into monsters late in them, and one sicko bad beat.
$3r: Busto w/ QQ < KK (out of the money)
Daily Double A: Busto w/ AKs < JJ (out of the money)
Daily Double B: (THIS HURTS) Busto w/ AA < QQ = QQ (3-way AIPF) as board runs out J-8-9-3-10. I would've been chip leader had I won this hand with 92K and less than 100 left but so it is, it's a bad beat, they happen. (Cash = $18)
$35K Guar.: Busto w/ AKo < AA (This only 5 hands after I ran my AQs into AA doubling up another player). Not much you can do when the deck hits other players in the face. Both hands I would've gotten my money in post-flop anyway if I just called (AQ < AA -- Board Q-4-2-7-9; AK < AA -- Board K-9-10-9-3).
So it's back to the grind at work to go make that money to supply the bankroll :-), LoL. Hopefully my next big cash is around the corner to get me to $20K profit for the year, but until then, it's real life, real job. It's bold to outright say I WILL hit $20K in profit by Dec. 31 ($10K in cashes w/ a $3K roll is unlikely unless I run super hot).
Still sticking to my short term goals for November. 1 FT in any of these 4 events plus $3.5K Bankroll ($+500 on the month). Let's get it done!
