Well I've played just under 300 sngs this week, ~200 at the $16 level and ~100 at the $27 level and I'm only showing $244 profit :(
Its been a really long grind this week and I still havent really turned it around fully. However I think the really bad stuff is behind me. There is good news though today that the SNG leaderboard has officially been released and will start on Sunday. I have a few observations/questions that I will share, most of which should be answered within the first 2 months of it.
1. Will this attract a lot of people to sngs, and if so will it attract a lot more to 18 mans because it looks like you get more points winning them, even though we all know winning an 18 man is harder than a 9 man.
2. Will many grinders win the low "orbit" leaderboard? It takes 20 game blocks and it seems like it will more award anyone who just catches a heater. Which is fine by me because we will all catch fire once in a while. Obviously I'm willing to believe grinders will win the high leaderboards more often just because recreational players wont play 100 sngs a week.
3. Will people spread out the stakes they play just to attempt to be on 3 leaderboards, or is it not worth it to drop stakes. I know my normal schedule will have me playing on 2 different leaderboards.
4. Final question, how often can a solid winning player expect to be in the top 10 on any leaderboard?
Anyways its an exciting promotion with solid payouts. I know that it will reward people who run hot for a week but frankly I know eventually I will have to profit a tiny amount from this at least, which makes this +ev in my book.
