I saw the movie Step-brothers over the weekend. It was good but I would have enjoyed it more if they hadn't used a lot of the best parts in the trailer, commercials, and as clips during the hundreds of visits to talk shows that John C. Riley and Will Farrell did in the weeks leading up to the premiere. They are a funny duo and crack me up in interviews. They really work well together and seem like great friends. I just wish the movie studios would quit ruining movies by putting too much in the trailers.
Totally unrelated, I caught one of the many re-runs of the ESPYs late one night when I was having trouble sleeping and was totally surprised by how funny (intentionally) the show was. Justim Timberlake had seemed like a strange choice when I saw him in the ads for the show, but he did a really good job. However (props to Stephen A.), I bet he gets some serious ass-kicking and/or smacktalking from the members of the Memphis Tigers. He rode them pretty hard, but it made me laugh.
