Full TitanPoker Review

  • Titan Poker Software

Titan Poker does not allow you to upload your own avatar; however, you can choose from many different pre-made ones. Its filtering system is basic, but it is still easy to find the games you are looking for. Sending money to another player is easily done within the interface. Hand histories can be saved onto your hard drive, which is very useful to those who utilize a HUD.

There is a replay button available that animates your previous hand in case you missed the action while multi-tabling. One of the biggest complaints from tournament players on the site is the lack of synchronized breaks.

    Player Competition

Titan Poker has very soft competition on the lower limits of the site. As the limits go up, the play becomes increasingly difficult, especially in cash games. For beginning players, Titan Poker is a great site to get your feet wet.

    Security and Ethics

There have been no major security or ethics concerns reported with Titan Poker or the iPoker Network. However, it does not offer a security token to go along with your user name and password when logging in like some of the top online sites, which could lead to a greater possibility of hacking on your account and funds being lost.

    Customer Support

Titan Poker allows users to contact support via a toll-free number, live chat, and e-mail. Its live support is known to be one of the best in the industry.

    Banking

Titan Poker allows most customers to deposit via credit card, e-wallet, bank transfer, check, or Western Union. Withdrawal options include all of the deposit options plus a check sent by mail. Cashouts are always sent within a few days of requesting.

    Promotions

For an initial deposit, Titan Poker offers a 200% bonus up to $2,000, which is much larger both in percentage and total value than any of the other major sites. The bonus is paid out on a daily basis in $5 increments and you have 60 days to complete its requirements. When completed, new customers receive approximately 34% back on their rake paid, making it one of the most generous deposit bonuses available. This is on top of receiving four tickets for $2,500 freerolls.

Titan Poker has a tiered system of rewarding its players. Players receive VIP Points based on how much rake they contribute during a month. VIP Points can be used in the VIP Store to purchase tournament tickets and cash bonuses. The value of the points compared to the rake you pay in the VIP store can be worth anywhere from 7% to 64%, making the rewards system very lucrative to loyal players.

    Flagship Tournaments

Each year, Titan Poker hosts the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP), a two-week series where players compete in tournaments in Hold’em, Omaha, and Omaha High-Low. The ECOOP Main Event is a $1,580 buy-in tournament with a $1.5 million guarantee. On a weekly basis, the iPoker Network has a $215 buy-in tournament with a $200,000 guarantee. The structure allows for deep play when compared to other sites’ weekly Sunday tournaments.

    Overall Review

Titan Poker is a great place to make money if you are a low- to mid-stakes Limit Hold’em or Omaha player, but the game play becomes much more difficult on the higher stakes. Its software is not as good as some of its competitors’, but it is still easy to use and compatible with HUDs. The drawbacks to playing on Titan Poker are the lack of synchronized breaks, making playing multiple tournaments at once a little bit difficult, and the lack of game selection beyond Hold’em and Omaha.
