Sunday was a big day for a number of P5ers in the major online events, and rdcrsn had one of the biggest days of anyone. Full Tilt had a $1 Million Guaranteed as its main event this week, which paid out a whopping $206k to first place. The highly ranked rdcrsn (pictured) nearly received that prize, bowing out in 3rd for a still very impressive $83k. Johnboibrodigy took fifth for $50k, and JBT449 had to be happy with his finish as well, taking 6th for $36k.
Rdcrsn also had another score Sunday that would be considered enormous to most internet poker players by itself. That score was a 2nd place finish for $26.5k in the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance, which had a prizepool just south of a quarter million. His heads up opponent was P5er Quads420, who was able to bring in the $52.8k first prize. Also at this final table were Michaelpzpz (5th), thugmoneymkr, and BamaEd.
Taking it from the top... On Bodog this week in the $100k Guaranteed, three P5ers finished in succession, starting with Legato, who bowed out in 6th place for $4,500. The next to leave the table was kornkid, who took home 5.5k. Finally FrankDaTanc was forced to exit as well, and he received $6,900 for 4th.
Another one of the bigger beneficiaries of this week's Sunday events was Jordan scarface_79 Smith (left), who won the top prize of over $40k in the Sunday Mulligan on Full Tilt. Smith had to beat a tough final table to get there, including former top ranked player P0KERPR033, who finished fourth. Other P5ers at the final table included ilushan (3rd), 1bigacehole (5th), B4TheFlop (8th), and ComptonMasta (9th).
Sticking with the Full Tilt theme, we're introducing a new event to this week's Sunday Tournament Review, since it's been getting quite a turnout lately and is consistently worthy of mention. The Sunday Brawl bounty event had a prizepool of over $300k, and the top prize of $65k was received by 4ofakindbud. Mr. menlo took 3rd for over $31k as part of a big weekend (discussed below). Other P5ers at the final table were dcookie and blanconegro, who finished 4th and 5th respectively.
ElMastermind was able to take down the $200 rebuy on Stars, defeating the top player in the PocketFives.com Pro Poll heads up. That highly ranked player is of course mr. menlo (right), who finds his way to the top of one of these events almost every weekend, so it seems. Ebiggs, kwob20, mattg1983, badbeatninja, and shaniac were also present in the final group, each cashing significantly as well.
P5s Moderator Anbessa had one of the other huge scores this weekend, winning just under $53k for second in the Sunday Warm Up. Jonasof87 took fourth this time, and brehmer was right behind in 5th. ElMasterMind was at this final table as well, though he only finished 8th in this one, and DANA finished 9th.
The UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed continued to get over 1,000 entrants, which it's been doing regularly lately, and naturally it was won by another P5er this week. MisterSilver took the top prize of nearly $45k, beating Harris and dignan in the final four. RandALLin has won this event before, and this week he nearly did again, taking 6th. P5er Jay_Fiedler finished 9th.
