Three pocketfivers cashed for over $50k this weekend, making it one of the most lucrative Sundays our users have ever seen. CASHRUS was the biggest winner, taking down the $700k guaranteed on PokerStars for $153k! JOEYTHEB was a part of the deal to which the final 5 players agreed in this same tournament, and his cut was just over $76k.
The other P5er to win huge this weekend was JJProdigy, who won his biggest tournament to date: the $200k guaranteed on Empire. First place in this event was $54k. He also won about $5,500 earlier in the day for 6th place in the Paradise $100k guaranteed.
Earlier in the weekend, sheets made the final table in the Friday Special on PartyPoker, finishing 8th overall for a little less than $4k. This was the only one of the usual $200 entry tournaments that are held each weekend on Party. They had a $750k guaranteed on Sunday as well, and the buy in was $350.
As usual, the Sunday $100 rebuy on PokerStars was filled with top talent and had a huge prizepool. Ian J took it down this time, winning nearly $19k for his efforts and making it the second straight week that a pocketfiver has owned this rebuy.
On PokerRoom in their "Weekly Big Deal" $300 tournament, DoubleLucky was once again a dominant force, winning just under $10k for second place. pdclou took 7th in the Paradise $100k, playing as GoCardinals0. And then later in the evening on UltimateBet, foshio and B_O_K_E (yankee47 on UB) took 4th and 5th in the $150k guaranteed.
