The last Sunday in October came and went, and P5s is here as always to report on the latest online tournaments. Greg "DuckU" Hobson (pictured), best known for his back-to-back wins in the Full Tilt Sunday Majors, had another nice Sunday score this week, taking 2nd in the $200 rebuy on PokerStars for nearly $40k. He had to beat a lot of strong P5ers to get there, including Trok (3rd), Andy McLEOD (4th), THE__D__RY (6th), WhinnePie (8th), and Randers (9th).
Also on Stars, blanconegro finished 2nd in the Sunday Million, which gave him a prize well into six figures. Long time online winner Mike "worldsgrtest" Banducci was also at the final table, and he ended up taking 6th place. The Sunday Warm Up saw jordankickz (3rd) and fitzfitz (5th) make the final table, and the Second Chance had two P5ers in the final nine as well, including the winner. Doctor_Fun took it down for over $51k, while TwentyTwoTwos finished 4th.
The $100k Guaranteed on Bodog continues to have an overlay of more than $20k nearly every week, and this week the top two finishers were P5ers. BlueFlare ended up defeating basebaldy (left) in the heads up bout, and the two each took home nice five-figure cashes. Joe McGuire and PokerKaiser were among the other final table participants.
This week on PartyPoker, two P5ers made the final table of the $300k Guaranteed, which had a small overlay. Tibzen ended up taking part in a deal at the final table, and oyvindc3 was in deep as well and finished 8th.
One more weekend major was won by a P5er this week. Johne147 took down the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed, which had an overlay of more than $20k. BrooDogg, griz19, and MMZentner finished 6th-8th respectively, and Fireman32 took 10th.
Back on Full Tilt, we saw FastEddie267 finish near the top of the pack in the $750k Guaranteed--he took 3rd overall. Tsarrast and Frenchie also made the final table. In the Mulligan, JGLaZe080 and ch0ppy were among the final 9.
