Most of the Sunday majors were won by P5ers this week, but the one that always stands out is the Sunday Million on PokerStars.  This tournament drew nearly 3,000 entrants this week at $530 a piece, and in the end, one of the truly fantastic poker players in this community took it down.  Mr. Menlo (left) was the chip leader throughout the final table, and there was never any talk of a deal as he took down the entire thing for $254k.  GB2005 (right) took 3rd for $85k, and two other P5ers, hertfordheath and luvfish also made the final table.

One of the big news items in Sunday tournament poker this week is the emergence of the Bodog $200k.  In its inaugural week, the tournament drew more than 1,900 players, and the winner of the event was Adanthar, who has previously won the Sunday Million on Stars.  He won his heads up match against another former Sunday Million winner, atimos, who is swiftly climbing towards the top of the PLB.  Other P5ers at the final table included People_Mover (4th), Roothlus (7th), and quaid745579 (8th).

Another rising star in the rankings, The-Toilet, took down the UltimateBet $200k this week for $45k, beating t soprano heads up.  Wake all in, known as a long time winner on PokerRoom, took 3rd, and yet another P5er, No-Loitering was the 4th place finisher.  Three well-known players rounded out the final table: PrtyPSux finished 7th, Triple Crown winner HB_HITMAN took 9th, and UGOTPZD ended up in 10th place.

Two other major Stars events had winners that were members of this site, including the $200 rebuy, which featured a final table that was jam-packed with talent.  At that final table, the top 8 finishers were (in order) x2then (left), hikkespett, THE__D__RY, Annette_15, CrazyMarco, Gank, Mr. Menlo, and Deuce2High.

The Sunday Warm Up, which had a prizepool well in excess of $300k, was taken down by gaffel.  In addition, LUHMAN, Exitonly, and AsianDude7 took the 4th, 5th, and 6th places respectively.

One of the few tournaments that wasn't won by a P5er was the Second Chance $200.  Deuce2High (known also as Pwnasaurus, pictured to the right) took 3rd in that one, which was one of two major final tables for the day.  BigredAK took 4th in the event for a nice score, and newly ranked YoungSupremacy finished 8th.

Full Tilt once again generated a prizepool well over $400k.  Bond18 was the highest finishing P5er, taking 4th place, and strangelove99 and phatcat both also made the final table, where they would finish 7th and 9th.
