As of Sunday morning, two full weeks had passed since Imper1um last won over $70k in a day, and he was getting pretty restless. The streak is over now, though. On Sunday, he had three different five-figure scores on PokerStars: 1st in the $100 rebuy ($29k), 2nd in the Sunday Warm Up ($41k), and 4th in the $200 rebuy ($11k). It was only one of the most impressive Sunday performances we've ever seen.
Trackcitylad, who's no stranger to online tournament success, actually won the aforementioned $200 rebuy, which was worth $44k for first. He defeated P0KERPR033, a former winner of the event (see article) heads up. One other notable player at the final table was Noah "Exclusive" Boeken, who finished 5th. The Sunday Warm Up saw one other P5er besides Imper1um at the final table, and that was JRD312, who finished 8th.
The other two big Stars tourneys, the Sunday Million and the Second Chance $200, had a variety of P5ers in deep. GrinderMJ was a big winner, taking home more than $57k for 5th in the Million Guaranteed, and Randers finished 9th for just over $11k. In the Second Chance, moorman1 and two8off finished 3rd and 4th, and EightLarge and ComeOnPhish made it to the final table as well, taking 8th and 9th.
On Bodog, we had a winner from the P5s community. Capsocool took down the $100k Guaranteed for a first prize of $25k. He was joined at the final table by TallyPoker and czarcaesarxx, who finished 5th and 8th respectively.
After lots of excitement in the FTOPS, Full Tilt was back to its usual (but still juicy) $400k Guaranteed Sunday tournament. Three P5ers were at the final table, with eazymoney05 being the highest finisher. He took 2nd place for more than $51k. Nate Jizzle wasn't far behind, taking 4th, and the highly ranked atimos finished in 9th.
UltimateBet once again had a nice overlay in the $200k Guaranteed, and not_hans_brix just about took it down, ending up in second for $27k. Classyploppy took 3rd, and dont77 finished 5th. Mackyg12 ended up taking 10th in the event.
