For the third time in the last 3 and a half years, Bo "Legato" Sehlstedt (right) chopped the big Sunday tournament on PokerStars. It had only been a little over six months since he won $132k in this event, and this time, he cashed for $135k after the deal. P5ers were all over this final table, including Luigi Babyface, who was also a part of the three-way chop. Former Sunday Million winner atimos took 5th place, Deuce2High finished 6th, and timkrank ended up in 8th.
And of course, there's plenty more big money to report for P5ers this week. Four6suited ended up heads up with online legend JohnnyBax in the Full Tilt $400k Guaranteed, and she came out on top for over $95k. Bax received $50k for 2nd, and P5ers vegan213, rcrane082985, and unknown4now, finished 4th through 6th. Cane3418 was also at the final table, taking 8th place.
On Bodog this week, yet another P5er took down the $100k Guaranteed. There were actually six of them at the final table, and the winner was head2782 (left). JohnnyMojo and clmtgrinder were the next two finishers. The others at the final table included amak316 (5th), meader21 (7th), and CardXFactor (9th).
We've only mentioned two tourneys so far that P5ers occupied the top two spots. There was one more--the Stars Second Chance $200. Mdshack14 took down GrinderMJ in the heads up match. Dabears87, who's been quickly rising in the rankings the last few weeks, finished 5th in the event.
On UltimateBet, Cmoney3 got heads up in the $200k before having an unfortunate incident with his internet connection and getting blinded down. It was a pretty rough ending, but he still took home $27k to ease the pain. Callduhb1uff was the 3rd place finisher, and wh00sel finished 5th.
Scott "emptyseat88" Fischman (right), who won the Monthly PLB in February, had another big win this Sunday, taking first place in the $200 rebuy, which pitted him against some of the toughest players on the net. Six of his opponents were ranked players and/or P5ers. TheDonator finished 3rd, and kwob20, apestyles, sukel21, Martine23, and t soprano were the 5th-9th place finishers.
The last tourney to mention is the Sunday Warm-Up on Stars, which once again had a prizepool over $450k---amazing considering it's the second biggest tournament of the day on Stars. PokerJoe9 once again displayed his dominance, finishing 3rd. Jurollo, known as WPThero on Stars, came in right behind him at 4th, and Ari took 7th in the event.
