Just another typical weekend in online poker, and just a few more P5ers cashing for more than most people make in a year. PearlJammer (pictured) has been there before, and this week he picked up his biggest online win, taking second place in the Sunday Million on PokerStars. After the final two agreed to adjusted payouts, PearlJammer ended up taking home exactly $100k for his finish. P5er Loonbat was also among those at the final table.
Jmyers1 was also a big winner this week, as he picked up the $25k first prize on Bodog in the $100k Guaranteed. Three other P5ers were at the final table in this one, including long time online winner Deuce2High, who finished 6th. Rock3656 is a consistent strong winner on Bodog, and he took 4th in the event, while TripleNet ended up finishing 7th.
As is only the case rarely since the inception of the deal-making software on PartyPoker, the final table of the $300k Guaranteed was played out all the way to the end. One P5er was able to hang around for most of the fun, and that was Luckystraw. He took 3rd place for $20,700.
The final table in the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed was packed with P5ers, and two of them ended up heads up for the $132k first prize. Jagtalon ended up on top, and TheRealMT (pictured, left) finished runner up for more than $80k. Also at the final table were dapalma150 (5th) and TWEB31 (9th).
Just as four of the final nine were P5ers in the $750k Guaranteed, the same can be said for the Sunday Mulligan, which guarantees $100k every week. Joeramos333 took it down, with JBDenaro157, Riggsb, and MarkFSU1 all challenging down the stretch.
Titan Poker is the newest site to be featured in this tournament review, and this week was a good week to start. P5er SilkysNuts went all the way in the $100k Guaranteed, netting $26,000! The $100k Guaranteed is a $200+15 event that takes place every Sunday afternoon and is open to all players outside the United States.
LUHMAN (pictured, right) was back to his old tricks this weekend, winning the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed for a solid $45k. The final three were all P5ers in this event, with rkruok finishing 2nd and ankstrajks taking 3rd place. Jordan "iMsoLucky0" Morgan, a former winner of this event, finished 7th, and Mopo ended up in 8th.
On Absolute this week, foolishgolf was the highest finishing P5er in the $150k Guaranteed. He took 4th place in the event, edging Iteopepe88, who took 6th. Triple Crown winner and MPLB champion Timex finished 9th.
In other PokerStars action, Tcarrico took 2nd in the Sunday Warmup for over $41k. Dal was also at the final table, taking 8th place. One-time ranked player two8off placed 3rd in the Sunday Second Chance, while eBo and TheNew were the 6th and 7th place finishers.
And as usual, the $200 rebuy final table featured a number of top ranked and well known P5ers. Damage1 ended up chopping it heads up with P5s Contributing Writer Alex "Assassinato" Fitzgerald (pictured, right). While Alex took a higher payout, Damage ended up finishing in the top spot. Number1pen and ch0ppy were the next two finishers, and Imper1um and brynkenneyps1 took 6th and 8th place respectively.
