There's been a lot of talk about a new number one on PocketFives.com, and Ari (pictured) boosted his resume yet again this weekend, taking down the PokerRoom Weekly Big Deal for over $25k.  He's been an incredibly consistent force in MTTs for an entire year now, and it's no wonder he's solidified himself as a staple of the top 5.

Meanwhile, another top 5 player had a top-caliber result.  Rizen finished 3rd for about $15k in the PartyPoker $200k Guaranteed on Saturday night.

As is often the case, several P5ers made the final table of the $200k Guaranteed on UltimateBet.  Potroast00 took 2nd for $28k, Dyzalot finished 4th for $13k, muchaka was the 7th place finisher, taking home $7k, and majic (peruviansky) and highplaya were the 9th and 10th place finishers.

A couple other P5ers to final table a major were tbpolo7 and drossxyu, who took 7th and 9th respectively in the $100k guaranteed on Bodog, which we're happy to report had an overlay of more than $36k this week!  In addition, P5ers pokerarg and Jimquig had nice finishes on Paradise in their $150k Guaranteed, taking 2nd and 7th respectively. 

Full Tilt had a huge guarantee in their Sunday tourney this week, which is one of the fastest growing tournaments on the net.  This week, it was a half million guaranteed, with a $500 buy in.  P5ers riversidejoe and traheho did us proud, taking 3rd and 5th for $55k and $32k respectively.

The WCOOP began this weekend on PokerStars, but it was finishing too late to report how it ended up Sunday night.  With 11 remaining, P5ers micon and Crazy Cypriot (polpolpol on Stars) were both still alive.
