Cardrunners.com : Training Review

By P5s Staff | Published Nov 07 2005, 03:50 AM
Overview:

Cardrunners.com
is a training site started by a group of extremely talented young poker players. Led by cash game behemoth Green Plastic (Taylor Caby), these guys will teach you everything you need to know to be a profitable online poker player.

Along with Green Plastic, the Cardrunners staff consists of Josh "Jsup" Supsak, Andrew "MuddyWater" Wiggins, and Phillip "filthy" Liou. Each player takes on an area or areas of specialty, such as Multitable tournaments, heads up Sit and Gos, and Ring Games.

Cardrunners.com's features include instructional videos, articles, a forum, and downloadable hand histories from the pros. For extra fees, members can also schedule private instruction with the pros that run the site.

The real gem on this site is the instructional videos. Each instructor completely reveals his own winning style on tape. It's important to note that these guys don't hop around from hand to hand. You get to see every hand, so members have the opportunity to pick up on all the nuances that make these pros so successful. Each instructor also narrates his videos to let you know what's going on in their mind. They don't just talk about pot odds and starting hands - they delve deep into advanced topics like table image, bluffing, and controlling pot size. Just about every poker player can find something useful in these videos.

The site is very well maintained. They're adding new videos and articles every week. The pros participate on the forum, so that also gives you good bang for your buck.

You can't beat this type of hands on instruction from proven players. If you're looking to take your game to the next level, give Cardrunners.com a try.
