Conor Beresford has held down the #1 spot on the PocketFives Rankings since mid-May but on Wednesday he added something to his list of accomplishments that has been missing until now: a PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker title.

Beresford beat fellow Brit Luke ‘Bit2Easy’ Reeves heads-up to win Event #33 High ($5,200 NLHE High Roller) for a $162,674.33 score and his first WCOOP title. Beresford’s previous best WCOOP finish came in 2013 when he finished fourth in a $109 WCOOP Kick-Off event. Reeves wound up earning $125,931.84 for his runner-up finish.

German ‘Loks82‘ outlasted 405 other players in Event #32 High ($1,050 NLHE PKO) and then came out on top after the final four players agreed to a deal that chopped up more than $100,000. ‘Loks82’ took home $26,116.91 from that deal and then added another $35,242.17 worth of bounties.

Dzmitry ‘Colisea’ Urbanovich moved into a tie with Dan Kelly for the third most WCOOP titles of all time after shipping Event #34 ($2,100 8-Game). Urbanovich beat a final table that included Mike Watson, Shaun Deeb, and Noah Boeken before finishing the victory off against ‘aleksandrs10’ heads up. The only players with more WCOOP wins than Urbanovich and Kelly are Deeb (eight wins) and Denis ‘aDreNalin710’ Strebkov (nine titles).

Wildace_hun‘ won his second WCOOP title in as many years by taking down Event #35 High ($2,100 Six Max NLHE Freezeout) to earn $79,781.92. Former #1-ranked Andreas ‘mrAndreeew’ Berggren finished in second place and walked away with $60,306.92.

Boeken took down Event #34 Medium to highlight the other eight winners on Wednesday. Joining Boeken in the winner’s circle were ‘neto gol’ (Event #32 Medium), ‘Bellsprout6’ (Event #32 Low), ‘serggorelyi7’ (Event #33 Medium), ‘Stakelis24’ (Event #33 Low), ‘4Kings_Hit’ (Event #34 Low), ‘luk9r’ (Event #35 Medium), and ‘blebelea’ (Event #35 Low).
