The 888poker LIVE tour is going where they’ve never gone before when they travel to Russia for the inaugural 888poker LIVE Sochi Festival this August.

From August 8-15, 888poker LIVE will be setting up shop at the Casino Poker Club Sochi for a 12-event series with $1,000,000 in total guarantees and a $500,000 guaranteed Main Event.

The 888poker LIVE tour is known for scheduling a wide variety of tournaments with accessible buy-ins and plenty of satellites to help bolster prize pools and the upcoming Sochi Festival is no different.

The action heats up in Russia right out of the gate with the first event on the schedule: the $444 buy-in 888poker Cup. The 888poker Cup is a classic low buy-in with a high guarantee as there is $100,000 up for grabs. Players will get plenty of shots to make day two with multiple starting flights and live satellite to the 888poker Cup starting at low as $50.

Immediately following the 888poker Cup, players will be jumping into the Main Event. The $888 buy-in $500,000 GTD Main Event kicks off on August 10 and offers five different starting flights taking place over the next three days, including a last-minute Turbo Day (E) just hours before the start of Day 2 on August 13.

This Main Event is special. Not only is there a healthy guarantee attached, one that should offer the winner a six-figure score, but the player that makes it to the end will also be the first player to earn themselves an 888poker package to the 2020 World Series of Poker Main Event sponsored by 888poker.

Players looking to get into the Main Event for the minimum will have plenty of chances as well, the live satellite schedule for the Main Event includes 10 different events with buy-ins starting as low as $100. In total, over 40 satellite seats to the Main Event are guaranteed during the festival.

Like all of 888poker’s LIVE events, players also have the opportunity to win their seat to Sochi online.

888poker is running a number of satellites for the Sochi Festival, and online players can battle for their seats starting for as little as $0.01.

Players can work their way through a satellites tree, winning steps and gaining access to the next step until they qualify for one of two types of direct entry satellites.

The first is for the 888LIVE Sochi $500K Main Event package. The winner of this satellite takes home a $1,700 all-inclusive package that offers a seat to the Main Event as well as an additional $420 for travel expenses as well as three nights accommodations at the Sochi Marriott Hotel.

The second is for players who simply want to win their seat to the Main Event online. The ‘Seat Only’ qualifiers are running all the time and do not have travel and stay attached, but will get players their buy-in to the tournament.

Of course, the Sochi Festival schedule doesn’t end with the Main Event. Players can hop into a number of other events including the $1,888 High Roller 8-Max with $100,000 guaranteed, Hyper-Turbo Deepstacks Bounty tournaments and even a Pot Limit Omaha Bounty events.
