Just one day after finishing third in an 888poker Super XL Series event, the United Kingdom’s ‘doitlikewond‘ navigated his way through a 410-player field to win Efvent #44 for just over $6,500.

The final three players, ‘Doitlikewond’, ‘TheMagicPike‘ and Yuriy ‘Yurec1707 ‘ Zdanovskiy agreed to a chop that saw each player walk away with at least $5,900. In the end, ‘doitlikewond’ beat out ‘TheMagicPike’, the #1-ranked player in Norway, heads-up to win $6,193.10 for finishing first, plus an additional $410 in bounties. The final table also included Alejandro ‘ACRRR’ Rosas.

The $35 buy-in Mini version of the same event also came down to a deal at the end. After outlasting 928 other players, ‘BatmanApollo’ and ‘Binge_Marker‘ agreed to a near-even chop. After a brief heads-up battle, ‘BatmanApollo’ eliminated Sweden’s ‘Binge_Marker’ collect $3,582.22 and $75 in bounties. Estonia’sIndrek ‘meelisime’ Turu finished third.

The 1,062-player field in the $35 buy-in Friday Challenge never even bothered talking chop. ‘HonorTheGame‘ beat ‘zemacale‘ heads-up to take home first place prize money of $6,117.12. Brazil’s ‘zemacale’ took home $4,360.14 for his runner-up finish.

Doug ‘PulledPorker’ Lang, who already had made one Super XL Series final table this week, beat ou 287 other players to win the $75 Turbo Knockout for $2,160 plus an additional $140 in bounties. The win moved Lang into second place on the Super XL Series leaderboard behind fellow Canadian ‘Mindcrushers‘.

Saturday’s schedule includes seven more events and seven more opportunities for players to find their way into the Super XL Champion of Champions tournament. The top 18 players on the Super XL Leaderboard will play an exclusive event awarding three WSOP packages and over $22,000 in prizes.
