This week's Podcast features an in-depth interview with www.cardrunners.com Lead Pro Instructor Eric "peachy_keen" Liu.

Eric "peachy_keen" Liu was introduced to online poker during the Moneymaker Boom, and became a multi-tabling grinder at $.50/$1 No Limit Texas Holdem after a few months. He used the money he earned to pay tuition as a Pre-Med student at Duke University.

Then in October 2006, Eric found himself playing into the wee hours of the morning on PartyPoker, and got his Quad 8's smoked when his opponent turned Quad Queens. "Peachy_Keen" was under the impression that his hand was not good enough to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot, and groaned even more when a general message appeared in his chat box saying that the Jackpot had indeed been hit. "Why couldn't that have been me?", Eric thought.

It turns out that his Quad 8's qualified for the Jackpot, and Eric was thrilled when he checked his balance and noticed he had over $110,000 more than he had at the start of his session. That influx of money allowed this week's guest to take a shot at $5/$10 No Limit Holdem (max buyin of $1,000), and he never looked back. Eric reflects on that experience in this week's interview, and gives our listeners an idea of what to expect from his CardRunners videos.
