Throughout February, Coral Poker, an Ongame Network site, is seeking players to become members of its pro team in March and April. As part of the promotion, Coral Poker is handing out three bankrolls worth $1,000 apiece. Text found on its website details, “You get to keep any winnings you earn in [March and April]. If at the end of March you have lost some or all of your $1,000 sponsorship money, then we will top up your account so that you still have $1,000 to play with in April.”

The first $1,000 bankroll will go to the player who wins February’s VIP Points Race. The race is open to any member of Coral Poker and regularly awards $1,400 to its winner, while paying out at least $10 to the top 100 players. This contest typically takes place every month, although February’s winner will walk away with an added bonus of a $1,000 Coral Poker sponsorship.

Right now, the player in 100th place on the Coral Poker February VIP Points Race leaderboard has 535 points. The month is only a dozen days old, so you still have plenty of time to register for Coral Poker and take part.

The second $1,000 bankroll will be awarded to the top cash game player on Coral Poker in February. So, if you don’t feel like participating in a VIP Race, then cash games might be right up your alley. This part of the competition runs throughout the month of February and, for purposes of it, the “top cash game player” refers to the person who has the highest net profit in cash games. To be eligible, you must play at least 5,000 hands in February; all cash games are tracked.

Interestingly enough, the cash game leaderboard’s top player has a profit of $2,100 at the time of writing, but not all 50 spots on it are filled. In fact, only 16 players on the cash game leaderboard have actually turned a profit this month, so the leaderboard is definitely still wide open.

The final $1,000 bankroll will be given to the top tournament player in February on Coral Poker. If cash games and VIP Races aren’t your cup of tea, then test your skills in a tournament race. Coral Poker will dish out a $1,000 bankroll to the member who turns in the highest net profit in tournaments during February. To be eligible, you must play at least 50 tournaments during the month and all MTTs and sit and gos will count for this part of the promotion.

Taking a look at the current tournament leaderboard, the top player has a profit of $330 at the time of writing, while 42 players are in the black. Just like the cash game leaderboard, this one is still wide open.
