In August, UK PocketFiver Fold Machiii(pictured) finished in fourth place in a rock solid final table of the PokerStars Sunday $109 Rebuy. He cashed out for $15,000, his fifth largest score to date, and has successfully pulled past $1.3 million in career winnings. He’s up to #124 worldwide in the PocketFives Rankings, his highest slotting ever, and is #12 in the UK.

PocketFives: Congrats on the Sunday $109 Rebuy final table. Tell us how you’re feeling about it.

Fold Machiii: I’m really happy with how I played in it and in general recently. I was a little gutted to get fourth, but it was probably the toughest final table lineup I’ve been in so far. I was joined by my good buddy Aaralynn, so it was a good result for both of us.

PocketFives: It was a tough final table, as you mentioned, that featured the likes of Jon apestylesVan Fleet and 24th ranked Yaya24, among others. Walk us through how the final table went and how you went out.

Fold Machiii: I came in as the chip leader. I wanted to play very solid early on and ladder. I got down to four-handed and a few spots didn’t go my way. The main hand had to be when I raised from the cutoff and apestyles jammed for 23 big blinds. I called with A-Q. I lost that one, but had won my fair share throughout the tournament.

PocketFives: Do you have any plans for the money?

Fold Machiii: I’m backed, so I won’t see as much of it as you might think.

PocketFives: Your four largest scores have all come this year. Tell us what has been going right.

Fold Machiii: I’ve been working really hard on and off the table. I have been using new software and really taking it seriously, but in all honesty it probably has nothing to do with that and more to do with the fact that I worship a goat called McGinty. I never met the dude, but no doubt he was the best goat around town. It’s just a small group of us at the moment, but it’ll probably be a religion in years to come.

PocketFives: How did you get started in poker?

Fold Machiii: My uncle taught me years ago and I instantly fell in love with the game. I busted a lot of bankroll and have come a long way since then.

PocketFives: What else do you do besides poker? Do you have any hobbies?

Fold Machiii: Most of my time is consumed by poker. The little time I do get off I normally spend with my girlfriend.

PocketFives: What poker goals do you have for 2015?

Fold Machiii: I’m pretty nitty when it comes to choosing goals. I don’t like making goals that are out of my control like an amount of profit. I’d prefer to aim towards something like Supernova to keep me driven during a dry spell.

PocketFives: Is there anyone you want to send a shout out to?

Fold Machiii: Shout out to the BBZ crew and the main man himself. I wouldn’t be here without him, so thank you. And big up to the Goat Crewdem!
