In a $2,100 Stud event held this week during the ongoing PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker, or SCOOP, PocketFiver Calvin cal42688Anderson (pictured) made history. Anderson recorded his sixth SCOOP title, surpassing fellow PocketFiver Shaun shaundeeb Deeb, who was perhaps not coincidentally also at the final table. Deeb owns five career SCOOP victories.

The PokerStars Blog outlined the resoundingly epic lineup that made it to the final eight in the $2,100 Stud event. The group included “shaundeeb(5 SCOOP titles and 2 WCOOP titles), cal42688(5 SCOOP titles and 1 WCOOP title), Dan djk123Kelly (4 WCOOP titles and 2 SCOOP titles), and Kroko-dill(won the Sunday Million, 1 SCOOP title, and 1 WCOOP title).”

Combined, that’s 13 SCOOP titles and eight WCOOP wins.

Anderson went heads-up against Kelly, and the two had nearly equal stacks when two-handed play began. The pair eventually reached a deal where Anderson would take home $35,000, Kelly would take home $34,000, and $1,500 and the SCOOP title would be left in the center to play for. Fifty-four hands after heads-up play began, Anderson earned SCOOP title #6:

1. cal42688 (Mexico): $36,600
2. djk123 (Australia): $34,019
3. Kroko-dill (Russia): $19,800
4. shaundeeb (Mexico): $13,200
5. bedias (Brazil): $9,900
6. calvin7v (Finland): $7,260
7. chokitin (Argentina): $5,940
8. CMoosepower (Denmark): $5,280

Anderson has almost $6 million in career online tournament winnings that PocketFives has tracked, including a victory on Full Tilt just before Black Friday for $303,000. He has WCOOP, SCOOP, Super Tuesday, Sunday Second Chance, Sunday Supersonic, and Sunday $109 Rebuy wins under his belt, just to name a few.

Congrats to Anderson on his latest SCOOP victory!
