Swedish online poker superstar 'C Darwin2' grabbed the March PLB.

It probably won’t come as a surprise to anybody who’s been paying attention, but the March PocketFives Leaderboard was dominated by the #1-ranked player in the world: Sweden’s ‘C Darwin2’.

The online legend marked March as one of the biggest months in his entire career by earning a career-high score of over $267,000 with a victory in Event #7 of the PokerStars High Rollers Series. The major win also brought him a heaping 1,104.54 PLB points. While many players who are lucky enough to win six-figures in a single tournament will do so once in a career, ‘C Darwin2’ managed to do that twice in the month. He also banked over $161,000 by finishing runner-up in Event #70 of the PokerStars Turbo Series which helped him pile on another 687.22 PLB points. His total earnings for the month propelled him to over $8.9 million in lifetime earnings. Malta’s Pim ‘joppiesaus’ de Goede lands in the #2 ranking for March with a majority of his earned PLB points coming from his victory in the PokerStars $1M GTD Twin Turbos Main Event. The $50 buy-in brought him over $143,000 and 1,194.24 PLB points. Like ‘C Darwin2’, de Goede’s major victory also marked a career-high score for the grinder. His massive March helped de Goede step into the Worldwide Top 25.
